WHEN PURCHASING A LIVERY PACKAGE, THE PRICING IS AUTOMATICALLY MONTHLY. THE DEPOSIT IS TO BE PAID PER HORSE AS WELL SO YOU MUST ADD THE SAME AMOUNT OF LIVERY PACKAGES AND DEPOSITS TO YOUR CART BEFORE CHECKING OUT. IF THIS IS NOT DONE YOUR PACKAGE WILL NOT BE FINALISED UNTIL THE REQUIRED PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. DEPOSITS WILL ONLY BE COLLECTED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE AND WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE MONTHLY CHARGE. What's Included

  • 12x12 Deluxe Stable: Your horse will reside in a spacious, meticulously maintained 12x12 stable, offering a secure and comfortable sanctuary that reflects our commitment to their well-being.
  • Access to Premium Facilities: As a DIY Livery client, you gain exclusive access to all our facilities when they are available. Enjoy the freedom of our fully floodlit indoor arena (40m x 20m) and the vast expanse of our outdoor arena (60m x 40m) at your leisure. These arenas are meticulously maintained, providing the ideal backdrop for your horse's training and recreational activities. Note: there may be a small charge per use.
  • Flexible Feeding Plans: We understand that every horse is unique. Our DIY package allows complete freedom and flexibility for you to care for your horse in anyway you need.
  • Regular Exercise and Turnout: Exercise is vital for your horse's physical and mental well-being. You have the flexibility to turnout your horse at any time within operating hours, allowing your horse to stretch their legs, graze, and socialize with fellow equine companions in our secure paddocks or via our arena bookings.
  • Professional Veterinary and Farrier Coordination: Between yourselves as liveres we can assist coordination of yard wide services such as farrier, rug washing, and many more...

Livery Sevice FAQs

Is DIY Livery priced per horse or per owner?

DIY Livery is sold per horse, not per owner. Each horse must have its own active livery subscription.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. A mandatory security deposit per horse applies. Deposit payment instructions will be sent by email after checkout and must be paid within 14 days.

If the deposit is not paid within 14 days of checkout, the contract is considered incomplete and Thorpe Meadows may terminate the livery with immediate effect.

Can I cancel my livery at any time?

You may cancel at any time, but a 30-day notice period applies. Notice must be provided in writing by email to the email in the contract and payment must continue during the notice period.

What arena access is included?

Free use of the indoor and outdoor arenas is included during off-peak times, subject to availability. Paying hirers always take priority, and liveries must vacate if a paid booking is in place.

What are the site access hours?

Access is permitted between 08:00 and 22:00. Out-of-hours access is only allowed for emergency vet callouts or with prior written approval.

Changes to contract terms or rules

Yes. Thorpe Meadows may amend contracts, yard rules, and policies at any time. Changes are effective immediately and will be communicated by email.
